97L is expected to be a Tropical Depression but could possibly hit Tropical Storm level.

They have also outlined a second area of interest in the gulf.

🔴 Invest 96L Back up to a 90% chance of development over the next couple of days. This has the potential to become “Dolly” but will enter a hostile environment over the weekend.

For this to become anything we need to worry about it would have to survive this upcoming hostile environment then restrengthen afterwards.

However there is a small window for this to occur, but it’s unlikely at this time
