Job description
Boutique ad agency in Elgin is searching for a creative, fun, web developer/graphic designer for hybrid part-time work 20-30 hours a week. We are looking for that needle in a haystack that can spot a typo from 100 yards, leap tall deadlines in a single bound, work hard and fast and knows their stuff. Our agency has over 200 clients that want their websites, landing pages, sales funnels and SEO to bring them work. Are you up to the task? The Advenger team wants YOU!
Qualifications:
We are looking for AT LEAST 5 years’ experience in a fast paced, deadline sweating job where you have loved every 404 error, attempted hack, missing link, and half built responsive site to fix. We will need to see some amazing websites in Word Press. App development is a plus as the boss loves them. Any additional Adobe Suite product knowledge is a plus. We want to learn cool tricks from you as much as we want to teach you cool tricks and programs. Also, A HUGE PLUS Google Ad Words and Google Analytics experience/certifications.
Responsibilities and Duties
If you get this totally rad job, you will be expected to, play ping pong in the conference room, work directly with clients and project managers on responsive websites, Word Press Templates and back-end SEO. But wait, there is more! You will register client websites, add landing pages, create sales funnels, and register and manage urls, hosting, email addresses and passwords. You will program small website applications in Word Press, update Word Press websites, draw all over our write on wipe off table, and maybe, if you are a good girl or boy, you might get to hang with Santa or the Easter Bunny and get your face painted at a Boo Party! (Yes, we do marketing event planning and ex*****on too!)
We want creative thinkers that can interpret client's business needs and develop concepts, estimate time required to complete work, design creative briefs, produce quality work, use innovation to redefine a creative brief within the constraints of cost and time and work with a wide range of media. Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design/Web Design. 5+ years’ experience in similar ad agency environment. Adobe Creative Suites proficient and FAST. Required: Proficient with CPanel, MySQL Database, PHP, Javascript, CSS, HTML, DNS zone editing, and current web design best practices, focusing on responsive layouts and user experience. Familiar with the website migration process across different hosting platforms and integrating domains, SSL certificates, and any related processes. Familiarity with Elementor, WPBakery, or similar page builders along with an Understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization. You will need the ability to work independently and meet deadlines and have strong communication and problem-solving skills
Good to have: Familiarity with cPanel and website migration, experience with Adobe Suites including video editing with Adobe Premiere, proficiency with Squarespace, online marketing, and Google Analytics.
