This position includes all aspects of sign fabrication and installation (printing, cutting, application, and assembly of various materials), as well as traveling to customer sites to mount installs and remove/repair both internal and external signage.
Standard working hours are Mon-Saturday 8:30am to 6:00pm
Responsibilities:
• Install vinyl on surfaces such as vehicles, windows, and walls
• Perform installations in both indoor and outdoor environments (includes working on a ladder and using power tools)
• As needed, operate plotter, lamination, and wide-format equipment to produce client jobs.
• Perform onsite and possibly some offsite sign graphic application and installation.
• Represent our company in a professional manner while on client site for installation, sign delivery and/or site inspection/ sign measuring tasks.
• Operation and Maintenance of Equipment:
• Operate sign cutters, saws, drills and other sign building equipment as needed.
• Work with team members to ensure superior quality on all jobs produced.
• Cleans and maintains storage and production areas.
• Keep work zone tidy and clutter free
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
Ideal candidate:
• strong mechanical aptitude
• basic carpentry and electrical knowledge
• familiar with applicable tools for install, including general carpentry tools
• able to demonstrate and utilize a thorough understanding of measurements to mount and install graphics, signage, and related products
• organized, detailed, willing to follow a defined process
• able to work as part of a team and independently
• skilled at problem solving, spatial relations, and basic math
• hardworking & dependable
Qualifications:
• The candidate is a self-motivated, team player who can work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Knowledge of sign industry substrates, media, products a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of construction standards preferred.
• Valid driver's license, insurance and reliable transportation
• Able to stand during an entire shift for application of graphics to substrates.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) Must be able to accurately use and read a tape measure.
