Do you ever just sit back and think about how thankful you are to live in a small town?

Driving through the bank drop-off and they know you by name. The coffee girls already knowing your order before you even get to the window (which honestly might be a problem 😂). Dropping your kids off at school knowing they’re loved. Leaving your car unlocked and running into the store without even thinking about it.

Those little everyday things really hit me sometimes.

This week there have been so many small moments that reminded me just how grateful I am to live in Elk City. These little things that feel so normal to us really are something special.

AI is part of my business almost every single day.

I use it for brainstorming, organization, editing ideas, research, and helping speed up workflow. Technology is an incredible tool when it’s used the right way.

But lately… scrolling social media feels a little like walking through a wax museum.

You can immediately tell which graphics were fully AI generated — the overly perfect people, the strange hands, the stiff expressions, the random text that almost makes sense. And honestly? Most of the time it makes businesses feel less connected instead of more.

The biggest thing people still want from a business is authenticity.

Your customers want to feel like there’s a real person behind the screen. Real personality. Real experiences. Real connection.

AI should support your brand… not replace it.

The best marketing still comes from understanding your audience, telling your story, and creating content that actually feels human when people stop scrolling.

That part can’t be automated.
