🏈 IT'S GAME DAY IN ELK CITY! 🏈

And we couldn't be more excited!

This year, Friday night lights feel just a little different for me.

I had the privilege of creating a few program ads for two of our favorite players this season. (And YES, there has already been a discussion that I WILL be doing the nephew's ad next year. 😂)

But as we head into the stadium tonight, I can't help but feel a little extra pride.

The field is surrounded by banners from local businesses that back our football team, support our schools, and give back to this town in so many ways—and I'm pretty darn proud that DN Marketing had a hand in creating several of them.

That's one of the things I love most about Elk City.

Small businesses support small businesses. They show up for our kids. They sponsor the teams, buy the ads, hang the banners, donate when they're asked and continue pouring back into the community that supports them.

So when those Friday night lights come on tonight, I'll be looking around that field a little differently.

Not just at the designs I created, but at all those business names surrounding our kids and thinking, this is what a community looks like. 🤎🤍🤎🤍

Proud of my business. Proud of our small businesses. Proud of our kids.

And REALLY ready for some Elk City football. 🏈

A little break in the regularly scheduled marketing programming… 😂

Back to school means back to routines, back to activities, and back to those BUSY evenings.

Mondays are one of our craziest days, which means the crockpot has officially clocked back in for the season. 🙌

But I have an important question…

How many crockpots does one household reasonably need? Because I currently own THREE. 😂

Is that excessive… or am I just properly prepared for crockpot season?!

Please tell me I’m not alone. How many do you own? 👇

One of my favorite things about owning DN Marketing is that I don't just get to
work with incredible businesses—I get to build genuine friendships along the way.

Sometimes I'll be standing in line somewhere...
..and immediately notice a stretched logo.

Or a sign with six different fonts.

Or a business with a page that hasn't posted since 2022.

It's not because I'm judging.

My marketing brain just never clocks out.

Anyone else notice things from their profession everywhere they go?

Do you ever just sit back and think about how thankful you are to live in a small town?

Driving through the bank drop-off and they know you by name. The coffee girls already knowing your order before you even get to the window (which honestly might be a problem 😂). Dropping your kids off at school knowing they’re loved. Leaving your car unlocked and running into the store without even thinking about it.

Those little everyday things really hit me sometimes.

This week there have been so many small moments that reminded me just how grateful I am to live in Elk City. These little things that feel so normal to us really are something special.
