Mesa Advertising, LLC, of Elk City, Oklahoma, opened in February 1994 with 2 billboard signs in Elk City, Oklahoma. Seventeen years later, this part-time business now totals over 70 billboards in Elk City and the surrounding counties. Its first billboards were in the city limits of Elk City; now they include locations along Interstate 40 along with several in nearby cities and towns. In the beginn
ing, faces were painted billboard structures. Later, vinyl letters came into use. Now, Mesa Advertising utilizes modern 13oz. vinyl stretch faces with 300 dpi quality. This enables an advertiser to use large photographs with near 35mm resolution. Holloway, has practiced law in Elk City and the surrounding areas for over 30 years. Mesa Advertising was started to replace his wife's income when she quit teaching school to raise their children. Considering the demands of a family, faith and a legal practice, the company has achieved phenomenal success since its inception. Holloway has served as President of the local Rotary Club, is a founding member of the Elk City Education Foundation and has served his church as an ordained deacon and Sunday School teacher for over 25 years. He has been the City Attorney for Elk City, Oklahoma for 27 years and has accumulated 75 years experience in representing Elk City and other nearby cities and towns. He is presently a board member of the Baptist Foundation of Oklahoma. The tremendous success of the company can be attributed to the prosperity enjoyed by residents of Elk City and Western Oklahoma, together with the reputation and contacts of its founder.
