A couple of months ago, when we learned we would be receiving two vehicles donated by THOR, our next question was whether we could get them wrapped in a way that would make a bold statement about our mission to end hunger in Elkhart County.

We reached out to Lester, owner of Anderson’s Sign of the Times in Elkhart, and without us even asking, he immediately offered to wrap both vehicles for less than half the cost, only covering his expenses.

As we talked more, Lester shared that he grew up in the foster care system and that giving back is something he cares deeply about because of the people who once gave to him.

It is easy to pass by businesses without knowing the stories behind them. We are so grateful to Lester for sharing his story and for choosing to support Hunger Ends Here in such a meaningful way.
