The annual Polar Plunge is on! Noon (sharp!) on New Year's Day at Scott Ford Road boat ramp! This year, Beander's will be on hand with music and to emcee the even! Registration is $15 and it comes with an annual event t-shirt. Minors must have parent's on-site approval. Come bring in the new year with a splash! Solyanka soup homemade tonight and it is смачний. Three different meats, carrots, celery, onions, pickles, olives, artichoke hearts, garlic, and and herbs and spices. I also included the recipe.

El Toro Steakhouse is a must visit. Such a great addition to the area. The food is amazing. I had the Brazilian steak cooked perfectly. The salad bar varieties are a surprise. The flavors and clean comfy atmosphere are definitely recommended. Across from 84 Lumber in Elkins.
