We are CWU’s strategic communication, student run, full‐service agency. Housed out of the CWU Communication Department in the College of Arts and Humanities. The course is listed as COM 481 and COM 483 for leadership positions. The course gives students an opportunity to showcase their ability to construct and implement a public relations and/or advertising campaign to maximize results for their c

lients. The agency will grow through strong results, referrals, and a vested interest in putting clients first. Our team members provide a strong diversity within our agency, with specialties in public relations to marketing, advertising to electronic media, and social media to graphic design.

The Central Communication Agency (CCA) is proud to represent CWU, Ellensburg, and Kittitas County with all public relations needs. We aim to build strong partnerships between CWU students and our surrounding community through content creation, video production, event planning, branding, and more.

For our ninth pick, we are bringing back some heat… we have Cris Comp! From Portland, Oregon, Cris brings his major in Public Relations and minor in Military Science. He is ready for whatever comes his way. Powered by Tonkatsu Ramen, Cris is ready to take over the PR world, one client at a time. When he’s not working, he dreams of the city of Dubai. His spirit animal? A courageous brown bear!🐻

With our seventh pick, bringing in some fresh heat. We are pleased to introduce Hope Macduff! From the Tri-Cities, Hope is majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Event Management. Hope is ready for anything, as long as she has enchiladas and it won’t get in the way of her dream travel destination to Greece! Hope’s spirit animal? An intelligent dolphin! 🐬

Coming in hot with our fifth pick… back for more, we have Hunter Rhea! From Yakima Washington, Hunter is bringing his passions for public relations and journalism back to CCA for his third quarter. He hopes to one day travel along the beaches of Greece. Running off a thirty-two-ounce steak, Hunter considers his spirit animal to be a Dagestani grizzly bear 🐻

For our sixth pick, we’re adding some new skills to our team. For his first quarter, allow us to introduce Alex Joy! From Tacoma, Washington, Alex brings his major and skills in communication to the table, fueled by fried rice nothing can get in his way. With our third pick… we are bringing back some talent from last quarter. Give a warm welcome to Brian Valencia. Brian has been with CCA for the past two quarters bringing his skills in Public Relations with him! Brian is from Pasco, WA, but dreams of the days he will be walking through the cities of Romania. Powered on Birria Tacos, there is nothing that Brian can’t do! His spirit animal? His cat “Kylo” of course!🐈

And with the fourth pick… we have some fresh meat! Introducing Isamar Sotelo-Ramirez. From Royal City, WA 👑, Isamar is bringing her Public Relations talents to the field, she is ready for whatever comes her way. On her off days she envisions herself in the streets of Japan. With the FIRST PICK… we're bringing in a seasoned veteran!  Welcome back for his FOURTH quarter with CCA, our Firm Director, Gil Martinez! From Edmonds, WA, Gil's a Public Relations major and a Sports Business minor.  He's ready to conquer the PR world, one project at a time!  Dream destinations? Machu Picchu and Germany! Give him some Butter Chicken and naan, and watch him work his magic. His spirit animal? A majestic Stag! 🦌 

And with the SECOND PICK…  we're adding some fresh talent to the roster!  Give a big welcome to Hayley James! From Tacoma, WA, Hayley's joining us for her FIRST quarter with CCA, bringing her Communication major and double minors in Digital Marketing and Advertising to the field. She's a triple threat ready to make a splash! When she's not working, she's dreaming of exploring Dublin, Ireland. Pasta is her game-day fuel, and her spirit animal? A resourceful Squirrel! 🐿️
