Selecting the Perfect Dog Crate...Remember, a crate for your dog should be a haven and their den to sleep, escape, relax, etc. Start introducing your pet gradually to the crate. Make it happy and use a command. We use Kennel UP every time we want our dog to go into her crate at night or if we were leaving the house for a long period. Eventually, they will go into the crate on their own when given the command.

Currently, we leave her crate open so that she can go in and out as she pleases. Remember never to use the crate as a punishment...it is their den—peaceful place.
