Here’s what we’ve been up to with The Ike Foundation lately! Last week, we had the privilege to take some students out from Schalick High School to a local pond and get some kids fishing for the first time! They all did great and many caught their first fish!

Over the weekend, we had our first Hook’Em Early event of the year! We had a bunch of kids and parents join us for a fun morning of fishing! Each kid learned how to tie on lures, cast their lures, and even catch a bunch of fish! Needless to say lots of core memories were made!

Additionally, many learned more about conservation as we helped clean the lakes and surrounding areas up of any trash and leave the place better than we found it, shoutout to AFTCO for providing the Bank Bags we can use to remove any garbage!

Huge thanks to all those that support The Ike Foundation, it is because of your contributions we are able to provide kids the opportunity to get outdoors and be exposed to a lifelong activity they can pass on for generations to come!
