The No Fo Band were mofo’s. Started set with Chris Isaak’s I Wanna a Fall In Love the moved into a Crowded House tune Don’t Dream It’s Over. Not exactly sure fire crowd pleasers. Pretty gutsy and well played.

Shows that you don’t hire someone because he/she looks or acts the part.

Harvey Ross Ball, the inventor of the smiley face, was hired by an insurance company in 1963 to create a morale-boosting icon for its employees. He whipped up a yellow-and-black smiley face with a wide, dimpled grin. He was paid $45 for his 10 minutes of work.

I call this “pretty ‘okay’ Photoshop.”

There’s bleeding of the red at the cross stroke of the T near the arm. Also at the hand by the H. Big telltale: a piece of white inadvertently copied from the original source of the C is now overlapping the H, showing that that the lettering was assembled (in Photoshop) not truly printed on a dress.

Maybe this is what she wants to say; maybe it isn’t. This is how people get fooled. I say every responsible high school student should have 6 months of digital graphics/art instruction. It’s at least a start to prevent self-deception on a large scale. Why limit your visual judgement to sorting out fake paper money?
