Another site I came across while making updates to the portfolio is this recent project for .worldpreschool!

My smart and driven work partner, Mia, of and I did this site together.

Jami, the owner and head teacher of the newly founded preschool in North Bend, WA, needed a site fast to get enrollment started for Fall 2022-2023!

She had a logo, school policies, a tentative calendar and school schedule, a student application and registration form, and a newly acquired building…. But she still needed a centralized digital location to send prospective families to access the sign-up forms, provide event updates, and generally detail what makes her school unique in the community.

We helped expand the branding by creating a logo-complimentary color palette, defining fonts, and archiving intention-aligned imagery for future use.

We also gave guidance on extracting crucial details of the preschool’s mission and vision in order to craft additional essential content. As we like to say, “Remove all obstacles! Make it easy for your customer to say ‘Yes! This is for me!’” And also important- make it easy to find and complete lead forms and/or submit payment!

We like working fast, while being as thorough as possible. Small business and non-profit leaders who are ready to run, but need the experts to execute the vision will benefit from hiring Mia and I to set you up for digital marketing success.

Ya’ll I’m finally working on my own site again. I spend lots of time working on client sites. Last time (literally back in July 2019) I pushed hard to get my own site done. I got so far and put it aside because I got the opportunity to work with a great client (it was so much fun and so worth it).

Thanks to for pushing me and helping me get at least a pitch packet going for now... then we’ll wrap up the main public site! It’s feeling good! Feeling confident about the language we’re using. Really proud of the work to show. Excited about fun little custom interactive elements we’ve worked in there.

Can’t wait to show you more soon, and highlights from so many fantastic client projects over the years! I have had some fun projects, great transformations, and all of them can tell the difference from before and after working together!

Really proud to be supporting the vision and work of people like Jason Michael Thomas. This past weekend, Jason helped local farmers stay connected with the people of Indianapolis by hosting a Drive-Up Farmer's Stand.

When times get interesting, I have to say "Yes!" to supporting creative efforts like this to keep our communities going.

Now that everyone is doing this “socialize online thing”.... I’ve had a busier social calendar! Been practicing for a few years ya’ll. Aside from the yucky pandemic part 😷😥🤭, this is otherwise *almost* my dream come true 🤔🤷‍♀️🤩. It’s a mixed bag folks! Attended my friend’s virtual Birthday Party yesterday on ! Working on a special site with suggested activities, links, resources, you name it to pass this with lifted spirits and as much interaction as you please. Stay safe, friends! ❤️

Been working on a new site for the Rotary Club of South San Francisco.

Websites can be more than just a story archive or marketing tool. They can also help you do work, get and stay organized, and execute smooth + streamlined workflows.

We’ll be adding on Membership functions to this club site over the next few months that will help make event announcements/registration easier, allow people to sign up for various club support functions, and more!

A few months ago I started working on a new website design and layout for Caitlin at Star Infinite Food.

On the left, you’ll see the original home page layout after a few updates to content. It didn’t feel quite right to me yet... but building (and maintaining) a website is a marathon, not a sprint.

On the right, you’ll see the latest layout update. In this version, I went with more light, more white space, and a better organization of the information to give visitors the opportunity to “go down the rabbit hole” that aligns better with their most likely interest.

Excited to see the updated metrics for how users choose to navigate through the site from this layout over the next few months.

Have you heard about Google’s latest update to the way it guides users find your website and content?

As one of the biggest updates in recent years, Google’s latest change is working to bring users to your site by looking NOT just at the words the user enters, but the user’s intent.

The way we use phrases that we search can have a big impact on the results we are offered in response. Parts of phrases like “traveling TO California FROM Washington” or “How to do _____ WHEN ______ is involved” indicate special requirements of the information we would like to see when we ask Google to find us answers.

From what I’ve been reading, this should not have a huge impact on most website site traffic, but it could. You can keep watch over these concerns in Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

Having an amazing weekend connecting with by chosen “co-workers”. A retreat weekend could not be complete without shirts. is an amazing small-batch production potter, but she’s so multitalented and made the shirts for us.
