Some projects mean more than just names and numbers. These were two of them...

The first is a Sock Out Cancer jersey, customized for a customer to gift to her cousin, a pancreatic cancer survivor. One of the toughest battles anyone can face, and she beat it. I used purple numbers and lettering, the color for pancreatic cancer awareness, and did everything I could to make this jersey reflect even a fraction of that strength and resilience.

The second is a First Responder jersey, created as a tribute to a father who served as a local firefighter and has since passed. For the first time, I added birth and passing dates to a jersey, and that detail definitely hit differently. This one meant a lot.

Moments like these remind me that what we do isn’t just about hockey, it’s about honoring people, stories, and legacies.

Grateful to be trusted with projects like these. 🙏

Another Captain Kirkby jersey heading out, but I’ve got questions...🤔 Last year we cranked out 15 Kirkby jerseys and this one makes just #5 this season?!? I get he was out early on but he’s been back for awhile now and we’re rolling into the playoffs. What’s going on here?!? Where did all the Kirkby love go, Black Bears fans?!? Something tells me it’s about to come roaring back at the perfect time.

And just a reminder our jerseys are handcrafted with full pro-spec embroidery, not printed or heat pressed. That means real depth, real stitching, and a finish that holds up season after season. There’s a big difference between something that shines under the lights and something that’s built like it belongs on the ice.

🏒 Keeping the Legacy of the Broome Dusters Alive 🏒

Growing up in Broome County, some of my earliest hockey memories were watching the legendary Broome Dusters. For many of us, they weren’t just a hockey team, they were a part of our childhood, a part of our community, and a part of what made local hockey so special.

Even more meaningful to me now, I still have the privilege of lacing up and sharing the ice with one of the original Dusters players, something that constantly reminds me just how special that era of Broome County hockey truly was.

Because of that, I’m proud to announce a new passion project from RACCOONICK:

THE BROOME DUSTERS COLLECTION

My goal is simple: To honor and preserve the legacy of the Dusters through limited edition, handcrafted premium apparel unlike anything previously offered.

These won’t be mass-produced throwaway items. Every piece will be thoughtfully designed and created with the respect, pride, and quality worthy of the Dusters name.
