As we near the end of 2022, Exhibit 3 Fabrications would like to thank everyone for another awesome year in the books! Throughout 2022 we tackled so many amazing projects, including completion of the WVU Children’s Hospital signage and graphics, large scale signage for our friends at King’s Island and the Cincinnati Art Museum, Ohio Nature Centers across the entire state, and nationwide 5/3 Bank office locations. Huge shoutouts to all of our wonderful partners in the design world for keeping us busier than ever this year! Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday season!

Exhibit 3 Fabrications is looking to hire a Painter! Our custom fabrication work involves a wide variety of projects ranging from custom signage and displays to sculpted faux elements and everything in between! We are a small company but we tackle projects of all sizes and offer a fun and creative atmosphere with a great team dynamic!

An ideal candidate for the Painter position should have the following qualities:

- Experience with HVLP paint application using professional grade products in a shop environment
- Knowledge of proper substrate preparation for a wide variety of materials including metal, wood, acrylic, etc.
- Knowledge of color matching and mixing
- EXPERIENCE WITH MATTHEWS PAINT SYSTEM IS A HUGE PLUS!!!
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and independently multitask with ease to meet production deadlines
- Have creative problem solving skills and have/develop a thorough familiarity with applicable products to occasionally create custom painted finishes (texture, faux, etc.)
- Knowledge of safe materials handling and disposal as well as general shop safety
- Properly use and maintain all related equipment and materials
- Maintain detailed records of all projects that come through the paint shop, as we often have reoccurring jobs and must match previously used colors, finishes, etc.
- Maintain and update paint cabinet inventory of all mixed colors on hand
- Basic mathematic knowledge is required
- Basic wood and/or metal shop experience is a plus
- Graphics preparation and/or installation experience is a plus

Just wanted to take a moment of appreciation for the fact that Exhibit 3 Fabrications is celebrating our 10 year anniversary this month! We can't believe it's been 10 years. We started with absolutely nothing but a dream and a drive to succeed. We now have wonderful partnerships with the likes of Kings Island, Cincinnati Art Museum, Fifth Third Bank, DHL, University of Cincinnati just to name a few. We are also fortunate enough to have great relationships with a multitude of the best design firms in Cincinnati. We couldn't be more proud of our entire team that has helped make all of this possible. It really does take a village.
Thank you to all of our friends, partners and vendors who have helped us along the way. Looking forward to the next chapter!

We are deeply saddened to have heard the news of the recent passing of Dick Dumaine. Dick worked as a SCORE Business Counselor, and was instrumental in helping Exhibit 3 Fabrications open our doors 10 years ago. With his vast business and leadership expertise, he guided the original E3 partners through the development of a business plan, and offered invaluable professional advice that has helped facilitate the continued success of the company now a decade down the road. Without him, none of what we’ve accomplished as a company would have been possible. He will be greatly missed.

It is always a pleasure working with the wonderful team at Kings Island, and Exhibit 3 Fabrications is thrilled to have produced and installed this 50th Anniversary sign for their Golden Celebration! Made mostly of aluminum and HDU foam, this sign also incorporates all sorts of snazzy elements like moving sequins and giant ribbon curls.

Exhibit 3 Fabrications is looking to hire Exhibit Carpenters/Sign Installers! Our custom fabrication work includes a wide variety of fields such as metal, wood, and various graphics. It's a fun and creative atmosphere to work in!

- At least 3 years experience with fabricating and installing
- Must be proficient with hand tools and power tools
- Graphics installation experience is a plus but not required

Exhibit 3 Fabrications recently had the pleasure of working with the Cincinnati Art Museum to produce some elements for their updated Ancient Middle East gallery! We produced and installed laser cut painted acrylic elements to accompany CAM’s installation of large carved stone blocks that were once part of an arched shrine. Our acrylic pieces fill in the lost areas of stone to help recreate what experts believe the shrine once looked like in its entirety, presenting the most complete form this arch has been in since being destroyed by an earthquake in the year 363. We also fabricated the massive steel shelves that support many of the stones in this installation. The Cincinnati Art Museum’s updated Ancient Middle East gallery is now open to the public!

Exhibit 3 Fabrications worked in partnership with Swath Design to create a beautiful Team Member Memorial for Toyota Production Engineering in Georgetown, KY. This memorial honors the Production Engineering Team Members that have passed away while in service to Toyota since the creation of One Toyota, and every element of this installation is therefore highly symbolic and deeply meaningful. The three sections of the memorial are representative of Japan, the United States, and Kentucky. Each area contains origami-stye elements that are significant and unique to each location, such as the sakura trees of Japan and the limestone rocks of Kentucky. Exhibit 3 Fabrications is always thrilled to work with the Cincinnati Art Museum! We recently fabricated and installed various graphics and wall-mounted elements for their new exhibition, “Paintings, Politics and the Monuments Men: The Berlin Masterpieces in America” which highlights the controversial transfer of European paintings to the U.S. during the WWII era. The exhibition is currently open and will be on view until October 3, 2021.

Exhibit 3 Fabrications is thrilled to have produced and installed exterior wayfinding signage for the new Dant Crossing at Log Still Distillery! Constructed out of aluminum and cedar, these signs will help guests navigate the beautiful grounds and explore all that Dant Crossing has to offer. Located in Gethsemane, Kentucky, this space is the newest addition to Log Still’s grounds. Wedding and event venues, a tasting room, wooded walking trails, an outdoor amphitheater, and a bed and breakfast are just a few of the amenities that Dant Crossing will offer. Many of these amenities are open now, and the rest will be coming soon!
