1976 Harley-Davidson Sportster XLH 1000 — Matching VINs & Clean Title

Up for sale is an original 1976 XLH Ironhead Sportster with matching frame and motor VINs and a clean PA title in hand. This old beauty sat tucked away in a garage for 20 years before I brought it home and brought it back to life. It is far from perfect, but it is an awesome running project and a great candidate for a Bicentennial restoration. It features tons of chrome, factory-style rare 7-spoke Morris Mag wheels, working brakes, a working headlight, and working brake lights. The horn is included, as well as the front turn signals, though one OEM lens is cracked.
Since bringing it home, I have installed new points, flushed all fluids, and replaced the oil. The gas tank was flushed and fitted with a new petcock, fuel filter, and fuel lines. I also installed new clutch and throttle cables, replaced the original S&S carburetor with a new replacement unit, bled the front brake, replaced the master cylinder gasket, and put in a new battery that is currently shimmed in place due to local fitment sourcing.
On the honest side, the bike runs and moves, but fine-tuning the ignition timing will maximize its performance. Like any classic Ironhead, it marks its spot with a minor oil drip. The inner liner on the gas tank is old and rusty, but I have been actively running it and flushing the fuel filters without issue. The tires are older rubber that you could run as-is or replace, and the bike does not include gauges as I did not receive them from the previous owner.
