That’s a wrap on the 2026 Rule the Road Indiana season, presented by the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute. We closed it out at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway for Traffic Safety Day!

It was an incredible day providing life‑saving lessons to Hoosiers, giving teens the chance to get behind the wheel with certified driving instructors, and celebrating another year of empowering young drivers across the state.

Huge thank you to all our partners, instructors, volunteers, and supporters who made this season possible. Your commitment to safer roads makes a real impact. 🏁

IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE!!
We have moved select activities and vendors indoors due to the weather. Check-in, autograph sessions, and select vendors will now be located in the North Chalet. We will have staff and signage on-site to help direct arriving participants.

Today is the Rule the Road Finale at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway — rain or shine!
Rule the Road is Indiana’s hands‑on driving education program that provides hoosier teens real behind‑the‑wheel practice, safety demos, and the chance to learn skills they’ll actually use on the road.
We’re at IMS from 9 AM–3 PM with driving sessions, safety activities, and IndyCar driver autographs throughout the day.
Enter through Gate 2 off W. 16th St.
See you at the track.
