One of my favorite places in downtown Estes Park has such an incredible story behind it... and that's the Estes Park Riverwalk!

In our newest episode of Only in Estes, Trenton and I tell the story of how the Riverwalk came to be and the devastating flood that ultimately sparked the idea. What’s now a peaceful and beloved part of town was once the center of a huge community effort and a pretty controversial issue.

We had so much fun digging into this story, and I can’t wait for you to watch!

Okay wait… this actually sounds SO fun šŸ‘€

The is starting a new young professionals group called ENGN (Estes Next Gen Network)!

The kickoff event is May 26 and starts with rock climbing at Performance Park from 4–5:30 PM with ! They’ll also have co****le, icebreaker games, and just a super casual way to meet other people your age in town.

Also there’s a very real chance I will get stuck at the top of the climbing wall so if you’ve ever wanted to network with me while I panic 30 feet in the air… this is your moment šŸ˜‚

Then everyone’s heading to Bob & Tony’s from 5:30–7 for happy hour šŸ»

And if climbing is not your thing, you can totally just come to happy hour!! No pressure at all.

It’s free, open to anyone 45 and under, and honestly just seems like a really good way to meet people and get more connected in Estes.

Estes Park has a brand new rooftop restaurant and between the views and the food it’s šŸ‘Œ! I’m talking about .estespark. Located in downtown Estes Park, they are serving up gourmet modern Mexican dishes and drinks. You definitely need to check it out.

Baby season is beginning in Estes Park 🄹

You’ll start seeing baby elk, deer, and goslings all over town and around Rocky Mountain National Park in the next few weeks...and moose calves are coming soon! Yes, they are ADORABLE, but this is also one of the most stressful times for wildlife and therefore, animals can be aggressive and dangerous.

Here are some tips to enjoy this precious time of year safely. šŸ¤
