After receiving his studio art degree at HSU, Humboldt County native Noah Samson founded VC with a Mac computer and one large format printer in a spare bedroom at his house. Since then, Visual Concepts has grown to a 7 person, 1 dog crew occupying a 5,000+ foot building in the historic Creamery District of Arcata, CA. Noah grew up racing motocross with his family, traveling throughout California,

Oregon and Washington to compete in one of the world’s toughest, most grueling and dangerous sports. The intensity of racing lives every day in the work that comes out of VC. Noah’s competitive nature has allowed him and his crew to excel in all areas and services they provide. What was once a dream to make a living doing art & design has become a resource for business owners, start ups, entrepreneurs, restaurateurs, movers and shakers in Humboldt County and beyond. New logo, brand system, signage, and apparel for our buddies at Great Western Clothing. It’s such rewarding work to help local businesses look their best. This store is so rad! I had never been in before but will be back for sure. Such a wide selection of awesome ranch/western typa stuff. Next time you’re heading to the internet or lame old Boot Barn hit up your friends and neighbors instead on Broadway, Eureka.

Welp, this one is special. You’ll need to see her in person to really appreciate it. Our girl SPARK BAIT is a marine biologist, and came in with the plan to turn her Tesla into a Tiger Shark. Mission accomplished.

She sketched the pattern, her and I vectorized it and laid it out on the computer, and the talented Josh Biane killed the install.

Both the color shifting base color and super metal flake galaxy black overlay are from Aura Premium Vinyl Wrap and are stunning.

Our latest brand design is for Peachy Clean Pro Wash
They came in with a generic logo and the name Redwood Powerwashing. If you follow us you know the best way to build a solid, unique, and memorable brand is by giving it a unique name. Here in Humboldt there are a ton of businesses with Redwood in the name.
Once the name was overhauled creating something unique became so much easier.

We’re at it again and back with our next community fundraiser shirt sale! This one is done in collaboration with our pals at Redwood Coast Mountain Bike Association.

The profit from this shirt will help to build the McKay Bike Park in Eureka.

The shirt is designed and printed here in house at VC, and printed on forest green super soft, fitted Next Level 3600 T shirts. 100% cotton.

The pre order site is live. Get your orders in, and then all shirts will print and ship, or be ready for in store pickup the first week of September.

Entrepreneurship runs in the family. Both my grandfathers, my mom, dad, brother, myself, and now my sister all have the self-starter bug. We have all chosen, in our own way, to chase our dream and start a business. Yikes!

This is my sister Cheyanne. A year or so ago she started Good Company Mobile Bar and it’s taken off quickly. She has an amazing mobile bar custom built by my pops, with rad custom branding by her big brother. She does events, weddings, all that stuff. She’s cute, stylish, and an amazing and seasoned bartender. Hit her up for your next event!
