This post is a bit more on the emotional side for me.
It's been about four months since the passing of my business mentor, and recently I have been recalling a lot of what he would say.
One of the things he used to say to prospects that would turn him down or say they need to think about it is, "you know, I feel I need to apologize to you. I didn't do a good job conveying the value we will deliver for you."
And often, the prospect would look at him confused.
He would continue, "but if I could just ask you one question, what's going to change?"
And then he would pause.
"I'm going to walk out of that door, and you who came to me with a problem will continue living with that same problem. Nothing is going to change for you."
And that's such a harsh truth.
Another week has passed.
Are you any closer to your revenue goals? Are you farther away?
We all understand that you can't keep doing the same thing repeatedly, expecting a different result.
So I leave you with this question.
"What's going to change?"
Maybe, you know you need to make that marketing decision, but you are afraid.
Fear makes a terrible companion.
I want to encourage you today to make that leap.
Go for it!
Have a great weekend!
