One thing I’ve learned over the years is that not every win has to be huge to be worth celebrating.

In manufacturing, some of the biggest successes come from small improvements that happen consistently over time.

Life works the same way.

One of my wins this week was simply staying committed to the goals I’ve set for myself, even when life got busy.

Between work, family responsibilities, and building my business, there are plenty of reasons to put things off until tomorrow.

This week, I didn’t.

I showed up.

I learned something new.

I made progress.

And sometimes that’s the biggest win of all.

I’ve learned that success is rarely one giant leap.

It’s usually a series of small steps taken consistently over time.

So today, I’m celebrating progress.

Now I’m curious…

Tell me one win from your week, big or small. I’d love to celebrate it with you.

✨People sometimes ask me why I continue building something outside of my career after spending more than three decades in engineering & manufacturing.

The answer is pretty simple.
➡️I wanted more options.

I've been fortunate to have a successful career, but I learned that relying on a single source of income can leave you vulnerable to things outside your control.

Industries change.

Companies change.

Life changes.

I wanted to learn new skills, create additional income streams, and build something that could provide more freedom and flexibility for my future.

But my "why" has become bigger than that.

Today, what keeps me going is knowing that growth never stops.

I enjoy learning.

I enjoy challenging myself.

I enjoy proving that it's never too late to try something new.

And if my journey encourages someone else to take a chance on themselves, that's even better.

The goal isn't just to earn more.

The goal is to create more choices for myself, my family, and the future.

That's what keeps me showing up, even on the days when things get difficult.

Now I'm curious...

What motivates you when things get difficult?

✅One year ago, I would’ve never imagined I’d be sharing so much of my journey online.

For most of my life, I stayed behind the scenes.

I focused on my career, my family, and the responsibilities in front of me.

After more than three decades in manufacturing and automotive leadership, I was comfortable leading teams and solving problems—but putting myself out there publicly was a different story.

Over the last year, something changed.

I stopped worrying so much about what other people might think.

I started focusing more on what I could learn, who I could help, and what kind of example I wanted to set for my kids.

I’ve become more confident trying new things.

More willing to step outside my comfort zone.

More open to learning skills that I never thought I’d need.

Am I where I want to be yet?

Not even close.

But I’m definitely not the same person I was a year ago.

And that’s progress.

Now I’m curious…

👉What’s one way you’ve changed over the last year?

✨When people see a social media post, they only see a few seconds of my day.✨

What they don’t see is everything happening behind the scenes.

Most days start early with coffee and planning before work.

Then it’s meetings, projects, problem-solving, and helping lead teams after more than three decades in manufacturing and automotive engineering.

Somewhere in there is a check-in with family, handling life’s unexpected surprises, and trying to squeeze in a little exercise.

Then, when many people are winding down for the evening, I’m often learning, creating content, or working on my online business.

It’s not always glamorous.

Some days are messy.

Some days don’t go according to plan.

But I’ve learned that progress isn’t about having perfect days.

It’s about consistently showing up, even when life gets busy.

That’s what most people never see.

The behind-the-scenes work.

Now I’m curious…

What does your day look like today?

1️⃣One lesson I keep learning the hard way…

You don’t have to do everything yourself.

For most of my career in manufacturing and automotive leadership, I thought being a good leader meant having all the answers.

🚨If there was a problem, I needed to solve it.

🚨If there was a deadline, I needed to own it.

🚨If something wasn’t getting done, I’d just work longer hours.

Sound familiar?

But over the years, I’ve learned something important:

➡️The strongest people aren’t the ones who do everything themselves.

✅They’re the ones who are willing to learn from others.

✅They’re willing to ask questions.

✅They’re willing to seek advice from people who have already been where they want to go.

✨The same lesson has followed me outside my career as I’ve built income online.

☝️Every breakthrough I’ve had came faster when I stopped trying to figure everything out alone and started learning from mentors who had already walked the path.

✅Asking for help isn’t weakness.

✅It’s wisdom.

✅I’m still working on this one, but I’m getting better.

Now I’m curious…❔❔❔

❔What’s one lesson you’ve had to learn the hard way⁉️

Hello again👋. It’s been a while, so let me reintroduce myself.

I’m a husband, & father of 4 adult kids.

For the past 34 years, I’ve worked in manufacturing, including 32 years in automotive engineering and management. I’ve spent my career solving problems, leading teams, improving processes, and helping people grow professionally.

What many people don’t know about me is that I grew up an Indiana University basketball fan & as a teenager I wanted to play for Coach Bob Knight (actually told him that in 6th grade at his IU Basketball Camp). But for college I actually attended rival Purdue University for my engineering degree and so that proved I could overcome any adversity in life.

While building a corporate career, I’ve also spent years learning how to build income online. Nights, weekends, early mornings - whenever I could find the time, I was studying, testing ideas, failing, learning, and trying again.

Why?

Because I wanted options.

I wanted to learn skills that weren’t tied to a single employer, a single industry, or a single paycheck.

That journey taught me something important:

Success isn’t usually about talent.

It’s about consistency.

Showing up when nobody is watching.

Learning when others are scrolling.

And being willing to stay in the game long enough to get better.

Today, I’m passionate about helping others see what’s possible, whether that’s advancing in their career, creating an additional income stream, or simply building a life with more freedom and choices.

Now I’m curious…

What’s one lesson your career has taught you that you’ll never forget?
