Back-to-School Night at Wilmot! 🤖✨

AI Club registration is open, and we’re getting ready to kick off our fall session on September 14.

Our Wilmot AI Club gives K–5 students a hands-on way to explore AI, build new skills, get creative, and learn how this technology actually works. And no, kids aren’t sitting on devices during club.

September in Evergreen. 🍂 School is in, the mornings are cold again, and AI Club season starts Friday.

Evergreen Country Day K–3 kicks off Friday, September 4th, 3:30 to 4:30. Wilmot Elementary starts Monday, September 14th, 2:35 to 4:00.

The thing parents ask first: no, the kids are not on iPads. They are never on devices in AI Club. They learn how AI actually works using play-doh, LEGO, paper codes and games. My laptop and the projector are the only technology in the room.

15 students per club, every time. Wilmot registration is open at everbot.tech/ai-club/wilmot. ECD families sign up through the school.

Clubs start Thursday, September 3rd at Evergreen Country Day: grades 4–8 on Thursdays, K–3 on Fridays starting September 4th. Spots are limited. Details and sign-ups at everbot.tech.

One year ago today, EverBot became a real company. 🎂

Not a launch, just paperwork, a business name, and a robot dog we’d talked ourselves into buying. We didn’t tell anybody until October.

Since then: AI Clubs in 4 Evergreen-area schools, 25 (and growing) kids who now know what a large language model actually is, and a growing pile of websites and systems we’ve built for local businesses along the way.

Year two looks a little different. We’re still running AI Clubs and we’re now building custom websites and lead systems for small businesses at a fixed price and a fixed deadline.

Same thing underneath, honestly: figure out what somebody actually needs, then go build it.

On September 14 I start teaching an after school AI Club at Wilmot Elementary.

It is called Spy Academy. Eight weeks of missions. The kids build spy gadgets, work with real AI to crack a case, and graduate as Certified AI Agents. Everything is hands-on and the kids are never on devices.

We have room for a few more before it starts, and I would love to fill it.

Mondays 2:35 to 4:00 PM. Grades K-5. $275 for the 8 weeks.

Congrats to on one year. 🍋

We stopped by their anniversary party this today. Live music, good bites, and the best fresh-squeezed lemonade in Evergreen. Thanks for the invite.

Two women built this from scratch and turned it into a place the whole town shows up for. One year in, that's not a small thing.

If you haven't been yet, go. Tell them happy anniversary while you're there.

Mountain biking. Paddle boarding. Then this.

After a full day outside, something fresh and local is exactly what’s needed. Kiki’s Health Cafe delivered and that poke bowl was worth every mile.

Supporting fellow local businesses isn’t a talking point for us, it’s how a small town works. Small businesses show up for this community every day. Showing up for them is the least we can do.
