Stopped at Fontana Pizza & Grill and good lordโฆ this place understands comfort food on a spiritual level.
The cheesesteaks? Absolutely ridiculous in the best way possible. Packed, greasy enough to make your doctor nervous, loaded with flavor, and the kind of sandwich where halfway through you gotta stop and just nod at the wall in silence like youโve seen the face of God hiding behind fried onions.
Then came the hot honey pizza. Sweet heat perfection. Crispy crust, that little kick at the end, cheese pull looking like an Italian food commercial from 1997. Whoever invented hot honey deserves a Nobel Prize and a free gallon of ranch.
And the white pizza? Listenโฆ I donโt throw this around lightly. That thing was phenomenal. Creamy, cheesy, garlic-heavy in all the right ways. The kind of pizza that ruins lesser white pizzas forever. You eat one slice and suddenly become a food critic against your will.
What really makes the place though is the people. Amazing service from the owner all the way down to his wife running the register. Friendly, welcoming, genuine people. You can tell this isnโt some corporate cookie cutter joint pretending to care. This is the kind of place where they actually appreciate you walking through the door.
Places like this are why small pizza shops still matter. Great food. Great people. No nonsense. Just good eating and zero regretsโฆ except maybe needing a nap afterward.
If youโre around Exton and skip this place, thatโs on you.
