It’s official, I have my credentials. (What once was a typo has become a ritual with Equestrian Events, Inc., and a good laugh for all of us.) A close eye was kept on me as I started planning XC coverage.

The afternoon before leaving for AEC would not be complete without making more space, taking the new trimmer for a spin, only to be stopped by a tornado warning that I used to cut up some road melon and then getting back to packing.

The weeds will be here when I get back and am properly dressed.

I treated myself to a specialty camera for the Alaska trip, a full spectrum infrared converted body from . While it can be done with filters, the full conversion doesn't lose the multiple stops of exposure of deep red filters.
Infrared sees the wavelengths beyond the human eye. It shows many greens as glowing white and darkens skies.
1 & 2 - Capilano Suspension Bridge, Vancouver
3 & 4 - Salmon heading upstream to spawn, Ketchican
5 - 7 - White Pass Railroad, Skagway
8 - Valerie Glacier - Kluane National Park and Reserve in Yukon
9 & 10 - Alaska Railroad from Seward to Anchorage.
*10 - Oldest "wildlife" in Alaska! AKA, resident that greets the train every run.
