When USEA let me know we had been selected at the official photographers for the 2026 American Eventing Championships I was asked for a photo of our team to go with the press release.
When I went to choose a photo I realized the only time we take a group photo is on Halloween!
USEA and I decided introducing the team to the country dressed in inflatables might give the wrong impression in the official statement.
So, here, in a less formal setting, is a look at our team costume themes over the years. And I still had to combine our edible years to get us all together.
I promise you, we will not be dressed as anything but serious professionals in August!
Watch this space for introductions to everyone on the team in the upcoming months.

Submitting a bid for the 2026 AECs was not something my team entered into lightly.
There is nothing like this event on the calendar, and will take a team beyond our core group here in Area 2.
Our AEC team will include photographers and editors from all over the country.
The looks forward to cheering on our local faces and making new friends!

The USEA received several highly qualified bids for the role of Official Photographer at the 2026 USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) presented by Nutrena Feeds. Careful consideration for the overall competitor experience was taken into account when reviewing these bids, and we are thrilled to share that AK Dragoo Photography was selected for the role.
