The Month of Love at Gather | February 2026

This month is about sharing love for this place and the people who make Fairbanks feel like home.

February 6: We’re kicking things off on First Friday, featuring live music from the UAF Jazz Ensemble, food from Toast Fairbanks, a pop-up from The Bond Bar and a community response wall inviting us to reflect a little deeper on Fairbanks and each other.

February 7–14: Take part in the Week of Small Business Valentine Exchange. Write a Valentine to a local business and receive one in return. More details at .

February 12: Join us for From Fairbanks, With Love, a snail mail night at Gather. Fill out a postcard, add a stamp, and send a little love From Fairbanks.

Side Note: A little update we’re very excited about! Little Owl Cafe is now open inside Gather, Tuesday–Saturday from 9 AM–4 PM. While you’re here, grab a book from Solstice Books and soak in some good energy from Alaskan Mystic Wonders.

We’ve cooked up a big passion project from our agency, to create our city’s official alphabet book: The ABC’s of Fairbanks 🎉

With a sing-song rhyming style and bold, beautiful, illustrations, this masterpiece covers all of the things we love about Fairbanks⁠—from a Chena River paddle to a trip to Santa’s house. An enjoyable read for children and adults alike, we’ve made a limited number of 907 copies, sustainably sourced and printed in the lower 48.

We're proud to be coordinating the Midnight Sun Festival with the Downtown Association of Fairbanks for a second year in a row 🙌 ✨This year we have doubled the festival footprint, booked over 30 musical acts over three stages and have an exciting new project launching at the Midnight Sun Festival.

Can't wait to see you tomorrow in Downtown Fairbanks for the 40th Annual Midnight Sun Festival brought to you by our friends at FairbanksAlaska.com ✨🌆💛

The festivities run from Noon - Midnight with over 100 vendors and over 30 musical acts. In addition to the booths lining the street, don't forget to check out the local businesses and see the launch of an exciting new business downtown 👀

We had the pleasure of diving into our illustrative side, designing these rad merch collections for Usibelli Coal Mine. Using a dynamic view of mining vehicles at work in their environment, this design elevates the brand to match their industrial and innovative trade.

Local DO and community-driven asked us to brand and launch her new endeavor, . As health is a personal journey for everyone, sometimes the topic altogether can be uncomfortable to approach.
We explored a clean and whimsical feel to bring a level of familiarity, ease, and simplicity to showcase Dr. Sally’s goal: educating our community through digestible topics (literally and metaphorically), to inspire and empower our health journey.

Being a military town, Fairbanks has a deep history in its armed forces and veterans. They are an important part of our city’s commerce, integration, and so much more.

That’s why we wanted to give Aurora Energy Solutions a bold and creative entrance into the community through a series of relatable, fun, and Interior-focused ads. Snag a bundle of compressed logs, kiln-dried firewood, or pellet logs to warm up the rest of this season!

Did you know the University of of the North has over 2 million plethora of public artifacts, specimens, and collections downstairs? We didn’t either!
That’s why we were approached to create a graphic symbol and campaign to spread this knowledge to current students and visitors alike.
To kick off our concept, we brainstormed on a logo that would signify something that is 90% hidden: an iceberg.
