“StandUp Ministries, Inc. recently partnered with a local church to plant mission teams in senior living communities in the DMV. This was our first partnership with a sending church and we needed it to exceptionally well.

Part of the partnership involved setting up a tabletop display in the church where parishioners could engage with StandUp Ministries and possibly fill out a volunteer interest card.

We worked with Printing Ideas on a few projects to support that tabletop display. We purchased a large pop-up banner. Steve and Sophe were exceptionally helpful with file specs for the design, which we appreciated never having designed a banner like this before.

We also purchased business cards, literature pieces, and tabletop signage. All of the projects were delivered with exceptionally quick turn-a-round times, super high quality prints, quality and quality materials.

Both Sophe and Steve were accessible and open to questions during the design, budgeting, and actual printing of the projects. Once we established a working relationship, they even went the extra distance looking at our files and double checking to make sure we didn't make any sloppy mistakes that might affect the project outcome.

We have a number of these events planned for 2024; so, we were looking for a printing partner to support our outreach projects. Looks like we found the best printer in Northern Virginia! We could not be happier with their professionalism, quality of work, and accessibility.”

What is CMYK and RGB?

CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key (black)) and RGB (Red, Green, Blue) are both color models used in color printing and digital displays, but they have different purposes and uses.

RGB is used for digital displays, such as computer monitors, televisions, and digital cameras. It works by adding together different levels of red, green, and blue light, for a wide range of colors to be produced.

CMYK, on the other hand, is used for color printing. This model works by printing various amounts of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black ink on top of each other to produce the desired color.

In general, the RGB color model can produce a wider range of colors than the CMYK model, which is limited by the inks used in printing. However, when it comes to printing, the CMYK model is more accurate in reproducing colors, especially when it comes to reproducing specific Pantone colors or color matches.

If you are designing for print, it's best to work in the CMYK color space from the beginning of the design process to ensure accurate color representation.
