HELLO EVERYONE, I AM RAE!
Owner, Maker, Designer

I am a 24-year old artist, teacher, performer, and like many of you, daughter, sister, fiancée, and friend. In my spare time I love to create things! I have always loved quotes and been a fan of home decor that says inspiring or witty things. Creating signs is my retreat....my "down" time. That is why I decided to create Cottagecore Wooden Signs!

Some of you might be wondering why I chose to call my business Cottagecore. I have recently been inspired by the word cottagecore since I’ve been searching for a house that meets my aesthetic!

noun. DEFINITIONS 1. an aesthetic based on an idealized version of a rural lifestyle, and is inspired by a romanticized interpretation of agricultural life. They are centered on the idea of a more simple life and harmony with nature. If you've ever dreamed of running away to sunlit meadows filled with baby deer then you might have a little cottagecore in your soul, too.

Everyone needs a little daily inspiration in front of them, and creating signs is really such a fun process for me.

To be honest it’s going to be hard to part with the signs I’ve made. I put a lot into each one, and can imagine it’s going to be painful to get rid of them! But knowing that someone on the other end will display it proudly and cherish it, helps.

I truly hope that people are inspired by my signs, because THAT is what is most important. Xoxo
