Red Crown Rot has been dramatically reducing yields in several counties. Shelby, Rush, Hancock, Bartholomew and Johnson seem to be the epicenter of this disease in Indiana. There are treatment options to slow the severity of the disease.

The corn market took a beating yesterday that looks to be here for a while. The only answer is to produce more bushels to maintain profits. We are doing some promising in field testing on a new product and how it interacts with our hybrids. So far, it looks amazing. We have several test locations across central and southern Indiana.

This is why you spray even when there is only a little disease. The first pic is Gray Leaf Spot on the bottom leaves. The second photo is from the ear leaf up. Farms are mistakingly only worried about Tar Spot. We have Gray, Northern, Southern and Common Rust and Tar showing up in fields. What’s the point of waiting? You are simply giving up 30-50 bushels of potential prior to a rescue application. Have a plan and follow it - AgVenture’s, Maximum Profit System.
