We haven't really posted anything on here since the season started, but just wanted to come on and say thank you to everyone who has supported us this year so far.
We were sincerely excited for Octane Fest, especially the kiddos, and getting to run with the West Coast Sport Compacts again. We'll, Last race was supposed to be the last race on the Unicorn and we were aiming on getting the Phoenix done, (we'll she basically was done until we started plucking parts and the motor to help others out), however the funding that we were counting on to zip up the build didn't come through. Now we are in a position of not only missing out on running with the WCSC guys, we are also losing out on points and having to disappoint our kids, which is the worst part of it all.
We were going to just get Unicorn back out there for this weekend, however that's not in the cards due to ongoing damage to the rear which was made worse last race weekend. So unless anyone has a miracle or wants to help in some way, we are forced to sit this one out. 💔

I just want to take the time and welcome everyone to our new page as well as show everyone what we have in store for our 2024 season. Currently we are working on putting a hobby/street stock together to run for points at Rattlesnake and we may travel with it but that all depends on how everything plays out with it. We are also going to continue to run our pink mini stock at Rattlesnake as well as traveling as much as possible with it. We are also in the process of finishing our newest mini stock build that kept getting pushed back as well as parted out for other builds and keeping others on the track. We are planning on taking it to Vegas and other big races that we have been wanting to run. We have a few other projects in the fire but we have to get the others done before those so we will share them once we get closer to them. Lastly we are always open to help with anything to keep our program going so if you or anyone you might know who is willing to help please feel free to message myself ( Travis "shorty") or ashlee jackson. Dirt Don't Hurt Motorsports was started by Travis "Shorty" Showe and girlfriend Ashlee.
Travis has been racing at Rattlesnake Raceway since he was 15 years old. He has raced in the Genx class most of his racing career, however he has also driven in the hobby stock and mod mini classes.
Ashlee grew up in Carson City around asphalt racing. Ashlee got her love of racing from her mom who grew up in Pomona, CA where she raced powder puff and learned about racing from her high school sweetheart, Warren Brogie, a well known drag racing chassis builder.Ashlee also started working on cars with her brother Rob at a very young age. I(Ashlee) live for the sound, excitement and the smell of the race track. So of meeting Travis, who also shares that passion, was fate.
Together we enjoy attending the races or watching at home. We are here to help fellow racers when we can to help keep dirt track racing alive.
We are looking to have an amazing 2024 season!

Custom, one of a kind pieces are what I love to do! Why fit the mold when you can break that bad boy open!? The lighting does not do this justice. Everything can be custom made to match your decor or color scheme.
