Sales heated up on Tuesday across the country, with strong activity reported at multiple barns. Notable trades included 59 head at 807 lbs bringing $372.50 at Flint Hills Stockyards, 82 head at 730 lbs at $402.50 in Scotland County, and a large offering of 260 head at 939 lbs selling for $347.75 at Kimball Livestock. Other highlights included Kingsville Livestock at $365.50 on 807 lb cattle, North Platte Stockyards at $472.50 on 623 lb feeders, Fallon Livestock at $571.00 on 418 lb calves, and Fredonia Livestock at $527.50 on 530 lb cattle, with many other strong sales reported across the country.

Tuesday 9-weight steer sales showed stronger momentum, averaging $330.95 compared to $317.19 on Monday. The market was led by a strong run in Kimball, SD, which accounted for several of the top prices on the day. However, high-end sales were not limited to one region, with notable prices also reported across Kansas, Nebraska, and Oklahoma.
