Not me being an esthetician and having to learn my own lesson the HARD way 😭😂

I started using a new cleanser and completely forgot that it contained an active ingredient I shouldn’t be waxing with. Went to wax between my brows like normal and… SURPRISE the skin came with it. 🫠

Consider this your reminder: your esthetician needs to know about ALL new skincare products not just prescriptions! Certain active ingredients can make your skin more sensitive and increase the risk of lifting during waxing.

And apparently I needed the reminder too. 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

Moral of the story: READ. YOUR. INGREDIENTS. Because the wax will humble you QUICK. 😭
