It’s not too early to gear up and get ready for ARRL Field Day! Field Day 2026 takes place June 27–28 and will bring together more than 30,000 amateur radio operators for one of the most popular on-the-air events in the US and Canada.

You may be set to Narrow Band Mode and are underdeviating for standard Amateur Radio repeaters.

This can happen when you mistakenly select Narrow Band mode because using the least amount of power and bandwidth needed for a transmission is considered to be a good Amateur Radio practice.

The National Conference of Volunteer Examiner Coordinators (NCVEC) Question Pool Committee (QPC) released a February 19, 2026, revision to the new 2026–2030 Technician Class question pool. Questions drawn from that pool are valid for Amateur Radio License exams given on, or after, July 1, 2026.
