Search is changing, and Letterpress is keeping up with it.

We enjoyed hosting a workshop with Explore Prince Edward County, Virginia on AI-assisted search, breaking down what it means and how to adapt in real time.

Staying curious is part of the job — sharing it with our community is the best part.

We’ll keep exploring, testing and passing along what we learn so that your team can stay focused on what matters most. Send us a message to find out how we can support your work.

When community leads, recognition follows.

Our social media work for The Harvest Foundation earned 1st place from the Virginia Professional Communicators and is now headed to the National Federation of Press Women’s national competition! 🏆

Harvest’s social media content elevates local voices, strengthens partnerships and shows what’s possible in Martinsville-Henry County.

In 2025 alone, 168 posts led to 738 new followers and 358K+ views. Behind those numbers is a collaborative, community-first strategy designed to demystify philanthropy, celebrate impact and invite people into the work.

In 2026 Harvest's social media not only highlights their community impact but also amplifies the community visioning work being done throughout Martinsville-Henry County with the assistance of partners, Horizon 54.

Help us celebrate our partnership with The Harvest Foundation and their network of changemakers as we continue to tell these stories and build momentum together!

Year four at the Come Celebrate Lavender Conference, hosted by our friends at Beagle Ridge Herb Farm and Environmental Education Center (and still one of our favorite weekends of the year). 🪻

Alex was back in Wytheville last weekend leading marketing workshops for a community of growers, makers and entrepreneurs who show up ready to learn and share what they know.

This community is rooted in hands-on learning and shared experience. It’s an inquisitive group — full of thoughtful questions and people making connections to support each other. And there’s something powerful about coming back year after year. In addition to teaching, we’re learning, collaborating and growing alongside everyone. That’s the kind of work we believe in.

What’s the most valuable thing you’ve learned from a hands-on workshop?

Marketing myth: Bigger budgets create better results.

Having piles of money isn’t the secret to effective marketing. We asked some of our favorite Virginia tourism partners for their best tips and tricks when it
comes to small-budget, rural tourism. Amanda Livingston (Visit Smyth County), Charles Bennett (City of Hopewell) and LaTonya Hamilton (Halifax County Virginia Tourism) had some great insights!

Curious about how to make your marketing dollars work for you? We work with all size budgets — from dental floss to shoestring to surplus. Reach out today.

In the meantime, check out some tips (and drop any questions) below!

There’s nothing better than getting in a room together and sharing what we know.

Last Thursday Alex spent the afternoon leading a photography workshop with Tri-County Community Action Agency, Inc. She worked side by side with their team to strengthen their visual storytelling skills.

Workshops like this are a core part of how we serve. We believe the best marketing doesn’t come from the outside looking in — it comes from within. Our role is to teach, collaborate and help build sustainable marketing practices that last well beyond our time together.

That’s what community-powered marketing looks like in action. And it’s one of our favorite parts of the work. 🤝

Interested in bringing a workshop to your team? We offer training on everything from the State of Social Media to Google Ads to Writing with AI. Send us a message to learn more.
