Everyone be extra careful online. I'm seeing lots of Phishing/SPAM emails and texts recently. I've talked to two different people today about it.
A popular one that seems to be hitting comes via email, looks like an invitation to a party. Don't click on any links in it!
Phishing texts that look like they came from UPS, or a law enforcement agency. They're all fake.
If you're not expecting something, don't let your guard down, don't click on links or call any phone numbers. And WHATEVER you do, if you do happen to call someone, DO NOT let them remote into your computer, ever.
Unless you are talking to a specific company, say Quickbooks for example, they'll remote in. Microsoft will connect to your computer for view only, no control.
