Fayetteville Church Raided by FBI

Recently the Federal Bureau of Investigation raided the House of Prayer Christian Church 5204 Hodge street in Fayetteville.

The FBI never publicly stated why the raid was conducted at all 11 House of Prayer Christian Churches throughout the country, including the Fayetteville location.

The Church is headed by founder Rony Denis and Alexander Schmidtke as pastor, according to The House of Prayer Christian Church web site. The website says the church was established in 2004 and church’s ministries include those from military outreach, food pantry, nursing homes and prisons.

A complaint filed by the Veterans Administration in 2020 claims the churches defrauds military education benefits from its church members. The complaint alleges, The House of Prayer targets military members and their families.
