This longing look, shoots us straight through the heart.

When we first met Brioche our first impression was she is so lovely personality wise and beautiful that surely she will not wait long.

She has waited over a year.

She is not only a staff favorite, a volunteer favorite, kid approved, sharp manners, crate trained, potty trained dainty lady, she is the the best snuggle buddy and is always in a great mood.

We work very hard for our long timers to keep routine but also keeping it new and exciting. It’s very important not to let “shelter life” take effect.

She has had very little interest since her time with us and we need your help to change that!

Please share, come meet her for yourself, and let’s get this girl a home!

She is dog selective but does well with same size male dogs.

Her adoption fee has been covered a long time ago❤️

Trying to be everything to everyone might be the fastest way to stay invisible.

What are you willing to leave on the table so you can build something bigger?

Chef LaTonya's grandmother came from Mississippi, and that's where her roots in soul food started — biscuits and cakes made from scratch, recipes passed down with love.

On this episode of Foodie Friday, Monica Adams and Chef LaTonya talk about what soul food really means, why so many people talk themselves out of cooking before they even try, and the difference you can taste when food is made with love.

This one is a reminder that everyone starts somewhere — even if that's just learning to follow a recipe. Go watch the full episode on our page!

She wouldn't trade a single hard moment. Not the nightmares. Not the breakdowns. Not the crying in a CVS parking lot.

Because every single one of them built her into who she is today.

Colin Ledbetter and Rachael Stark on Built Different have one of the most honest conversations about healing and resilience we've put out. Full episode on BuiltDifferentSTL now.

Jamie Rivers wanted to put barbecue sauce on duck breast and needed Chef Daniel Foulks from The Rack House to tell him if that was acceptable.

Spoiler: not only is it acceptable — Chef Daniel says there's basically nothing barbecue sauce CAN'T go on. Smoked trout, salmon, dessert, bacon wrapped pork. All of it.
