Honored to represent the Michigan Film Industry Association at the 2026 Mackinac Policy Conference. We had some incredible conversations around the Multimedia Jobs Act House Bill 5991 & 5992.

You'll always find MiFIA where Michigan's movers and shakers gather! MiFIA Board Member Matthew Peach and Association Administrator Lorri Rishar are among those on hand at the Mackinac Policy Conference at the historic Grand Hotel this week. The conference is a magnet for influential Michiganders looking for innovative ways to move the Great Lakes State forward.

It's great to have advocates for Michigan's creative economy in the room!

Today was National prayer day! I was asked to lead the interviews for the Ford Interfaith Network. Speaking with over a dozen people from different faiths around the world was truly special and left my heart filled with joy.

18 years of M-1, and it started on Woodward Avenue.

This photo is 29216 Woodward Ave, back when it was Susie Q, home of the legendary fish & chips. When Susie Q closed, Duggan’s Irish Pub inherited that fish & chips recipe (and kept serving it from the Duggan’s location we all know on Woodward).

And in 2007, Duggan’s is where we all met, had fish sandwiches, and started forming the ideas that became M-1 Studios.

Fast-forward to 2026: We're at 23452 Woodward, 29216 Woodward Ave is an IHOP now… and the roots are still the roots!
