Some things never change. Over 200 years ago here in Carmel, it was already understood… keep fire hydrants clear. No landscaping, no obstructions… just common sense. As spring planting season begins, continue this long-standing tradition and keep hydrants accessible and visible for firefighters, because we don’t have time to search for them when it matters most.
