Words cannot express what station 32, the Buck and the Schick families are going through. But we have experienced how this community comes together to support them , as well as witnessing how strong the brotherhood of first responders is. Tracey put her heart into every arrangement made. Melissa. Jen and Rita have enjoyed talking to you. And Amy has seen first hand how much every delivery she did made a difference in their day. Our hearts will be with everyone, and our support will always stand strong..

Good evening, Fleetwood Borough residents. It is with heavy hearts that we share information concerning the events surrounding the fallen firefighters that impact our community this weekend. We appreciate your patience and support during this most difficult time.

Please expect significant traffic in and through the Borough, especially around the Fleetwood High School Friday night and Saturday for the funeral for the two fallen firefighters from Walnuttown Fire Company. Richmond Street will be posted "No parking" in certain areas Saturday to accommodate the increased traffic. Arch, Maple and Race Streets, near the Fleetwood Park, will also be posted "No Parking" for Saturday.

On behalf of the Fleetwood Borough, we wish to extend our sincere condolences to the family, friends and anyone who knew and loved Chief Buck and Assistant Chief Shick, as well as the Walnuttown Fire Company. We are so proud to be a part of such a caring community that has first responders, many who are volunteers, who put their life on the line to help keep us all safe and respond to our emergencies at the cost of their own safety. Their watch may be over, but their sacrifices will not be forgotten.

Be patient, be safe, be kind.
Have a wonderful evening.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the tragic loss of two brave firefighters. 💔

These heroes dedicated their lives to protecting others, running toward danger when most would run away. Their courage, selflessness, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

We extend our deepest condolences to their families, friends, and fellow firefighters during this incredibly difficult time. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Rest in peace, heroes. Your service and sacrifice will always be honored. 🕊️
