Hyperlite is an experimental New York–based beer brand whose first release was a crisp, low-ABV pilsner called P01. From 2021–2022, I worked with Hyperlite to develop a packaging system and visual identity that included logos, custom typography, a nautical-inspired color palette, and abstract sailing graphics. Built around a clean, grid-based structure, the system established a flexible foundation while staying true to the brand’s utilitarian inspiration.
Packaging and label design brought these elements together, extending the visual identity across cans and boxes. Central to the system was the H8 numeral set, created exclusively for Hyperlite and inspired by the modular “digital 8” forms found on racing sails. Built from a shared foundation, the numerals reinforced the brand’s nautical theme while providing a distinctive alphanumeric language for packaging and beyond.
