Studio 1.5 PHOTO GRAPHIC images may be art, or they might be design. They may inspire, or they may motivate. I leave that to the viewer. Custom sized prints available.

Please contact us for details. Having been a student of both photography and design since a very young age. I grew up fascinated with the creative arts. I studied art, graphic design, photography and architecture in college. Over the past 50 years I have worked as a graphic designer, interior designer, architectural designer, and community planner, often using photography as a source of inspiratio

n as well as a tool. For many years I have been creating PHOTO GRAPHIC images. Beginning with an image seen by the naked eye, that image is photographed onto film or as a digital file, then edited in creative applications such as Illustrator and Photoshop. These final images are based upon the basic elements of design: line; shape; direction; color; value; size; texture; and space; as well as the principles of design: balance; graduation; repetition; contrast; harmony; dominance; and unity; then manipulated, re-manipulated, and possibly manipulated again, into something similar, but new and different. My PHOTO GRAPHIC images may be art, or they might be design. Do these images inspire, or motivate; are they interpreted, or understood; are they judged by the viewers taste, or by their opinion; do they send the same, or different, messages to the viewer? I leave that up to the viewer. I’m just having fun!
