I will always remember 9/11/2001.
I took the time this morning to visit the Flags of Valor, Art Hill in Forest Park. It was incredible and so sad.
I remember being at my new high school in a classroom nearly alone, testing. Then all of a sudden teachers were pushing the big TV on a stand into the room and brought in a ton of students and had us all sit on the floor and watch as the day unfurled.
I love how this exhibit honors those who were killed that day and those who lost their lives fighting for us.
