These new butter balm and cream blush shades feel especially perfect for summer… effortless color, easy glow, and the kind of products you can swipe on quickly without overthinking it.

We expanded the cream blush collection with three gorgeous new shades! Cream blush is buildable, easy to apply and feels great on the skin. Use on its own for a glowy wash of color, or on top of a powder blush when you want to make an impact.

We also added six new butter balm shades to our collection and I can’t wait for you to try them! Each new shade was developed because clients like you were asking for them. (I tried the new Pink Blossom a few weeks ago at our annual conference and am in love! 😍)

A few planning ahead steps makes all the difference in showing up to your destination confident and stress-free. Here are my tried and true tips, regardless of the travel occasion!

👗 Get a simple folding rack to hang up all your outfits. It’s a great way to make sure you have everything you need, as well as evaluate colors and style to see if you’re planning the right looks for the right days/events.

📸 Take pictures of yourself in all your outfits ahead of time: include shoes, accessories and bags in the photos! This allows you to a) make sure the outfit feels flattering and achieves the look you want, b) ensures you actually feel comfortable in the clothes, c) will help you get dressed on your trip because you know exactly what accessories each outfit needs!

👠 Be strategic with shoes, jewelry and bags. These items are the finishing touch on an outfit, but can also take up important real estate in your bag. How can you maximize these items by wearing them with multiple outfits?

🧳 Invest in packing cubes: they aren’t just for looks... you really can fit more in your bags by compressing items into packing cubes!

🧺 Pack a small laundry bag: especially for intimates and socks. I like to be able to put dirty items in a separate bag during my trip. This makes repacking and laundry easier when I travel home!

👌 Don’t forget your travel day outfits! Comfort is key, but doesn’t have to sacrifice style.

✈️ When flying, utilize your carry-on for items that you MUST HAVE in case your bags don’t arrive: toothbrush, charger, a change of clothes, a swimsuit if you’re headed pool or beachside!

If you’re a client of mine, you also have amazing access to your HOC LookBook account to build outfits and figure out gaps you might need to shop for your trip. Every vacation shouldn’t need a whole new wardrobe, but it’s totally permissible to get a few new pieces to finish off your looks!

Do you keep reaching for the same few pieces in your closet?

Most women I work with don’t have too few options. If anything, the closet is full. Yet when they pay attention, they’re consistently reaching for the same few items. Usually they’re either the outfits they can hide in, or the ones that feel easy and most like them.

Everything else tends to fall into a few categories: pieces that almost work, pieces that used to work, or pieces they feel like they should wear but don’t actually enjoy.

Over time, that creates friction. Getting dressed feels harder than it should, and confidence starts to feel inconsistent. The instinct is often to add something new, hoping it will pull everything together.

Rarely does this work.

The real shift comes from understanding what actually suits YOU: your coloring, your shape, your lifestyle, and how you want to feel when you get dressed.

With those tools, your closet becomes simpler. Getting dressed becomes easier. You stop settling for “good enough.”
