One of the coolest parts about the trades is the community built amongst each trade. For instance linemen who take such pride in their work they have their own “Rodeo” with different events relating to their work.

Linework is a dangerous job and the stress can take a toll on this community, events like their rodeos and the brotherhood they’ve bred into their culture keeps these guys going and your lights on ⚡️

Congratulations to these graduates and stay safe out there 🎓

The end of this summer feels like the end of a chapter. This year each of my kids will be in school full time. This will be the first time in 8 years that I didn’t have a small child at home with me.

It’s bittersweet. A close to a very special chapter of motherhood yet an opening of what I already know is going to be a very special chapter in my entrepreneurship journey.

I feel energized, ready to hit the ground running, ready to explode with new opportunities. I am also excited for the next chapter of motherhood, hopefully one that comes with a little more balance and opportunity to be present.

Oh and I bought my first house this summer, that was pretty cool.

It’s been a special summer indeed.
