Apparently, taking “center of the customer journey” off the website’s resume did not come with fewer responsibilities.
It still needs to orient people, prove things, answer the harder questions, give AI systems something useful to work with, help serious buyers evaluate, and make conversion pleasantly uneventful.
Turns out, the website still has a pretty full plate.
