Today’s challenge is to draw a tiger! Which is surprisingly relevant right now 😂 The idea here is to capture the fierceness of these beautiful creatures. After yesterday’s lemons which actually took over 2 hours… I opted for something much simpler. Drawing Lemons 🍋 🍋
The purpose of this exercise isn’t simply to capture a still life as it is, but to convey how it makes you feel. This took me longer than I’d like to admit, but it was also quite enjoyable. Also, it was fun to be able to set up the still life as it was described in the book. White plate and all.

Draw A Thistle
Simple challenge. Difficult ex*****on. We don’t have any thistles that I could find and I didn’t want to draw an Internet picture. So, I went outside and found the spikiest plant possible. BlackBerry brambles. I guess I should rename it to draw something with spikes.
