Time and time again, I hear the same thing “Why my DTF transfer feels like a sheet of plastic?”

Well here’s why, it’s because of two reasons:
1) You’re not halftoning your design prior to printing.
2) Because you’re not halftoning or using the knockout method, your printer is putting down too much ink.

So I developed an EASY walkthrough tutorial/course showing you the tools I use to create halftones. The course is about 15-17 minutes long, and once you become a pro, it’ll take 5 minutes tops to halftone your designs. Last night was the test print, but today was the final version!

“Like Mike” inspired by the upcoming Michael Jackson movie. This is a combination of DTF and Rhinestones added to the socks and small parts of the shoes. 🥶🥶🥶🥶 Yes they’ll be for sale, and yes I will be teaching this for all my fellow crafters!

Check out my Ultimate Humidity Setup to consolidate humidity for my X-Tool DTF Apparel Printer. Is this overkill?

So my HEPA 13 and Activated Carbon Filter for my 3D Printer (Bambu P2S) arrived yesterday, and took me about 15-20 minutes to install. SUPER EASY INSTALL! Yes, you have to take a few screws loose, but super easy to take apart and put back together. Now I can safely breath and run my printer. 😮‍💨

Over the past few weeks my battle has been the same as lot of people. The battle against and/or for humidity, what if the power goes out, what a good gauge extension cord to use, and so on. So to help out, I made an Amazon List for all the things I ABSOLUTELY recommend to keep your printer in tip top shape no matter the situation.

Here’s my data:

Thursday: I spent a couple hours trying to get the right settings. My goal was to keep the humidity constant. By 3am Friday, I had it figured out.

Friday: I didn’t open the tent and did no prints. The humidity stayed constant between 47% and 52%.

Saturday: Humidity stayed constant with a dip at 6pm because I was printing and was stepping in and out the tent.

Settings:
- 1st: I closed all the exhausts via the draw strings.
- 2nd: Once everything was sealed tight, I turned my humidifier on “Humidity 30%” and set up a schedule to run for 1 minute every two hours, then turn off.
- 3rd: If your initial humidity is too low, turn on the humidifier to constantly run just for maybe 3-5 minutes tops. If your humidity is too high, open the sides of the tent to get out some out. The goal is to get your humidity within a good range. Once you have it within range, you really don’t have to touch it for a looonnggg time. Just keep it zipped up and only open it if you’re going in and out.
