Stick around for story time!
A few people have asked why I decided to go back out on my own.
So here it is.
I spent a few years with a company that taught me a lot.
I grew as a strategist, a leader, and a business owner.
For that, I’m genuinely grateful.
When I joined, the vision was partnership.
Over time, that vision shifted.
And that happens.
Businesses evolve. People evolve.
What became clear to me was this:
My role was no longer aligned with the level of ownership, transparency, or impact I value in my work.
I realized that while I was being developed to lead, I wasn’t being invited to see or shape the business as a whole fully.
And without shared visibility and aligned direction, growth eventually stalls for the business and for the person.
So I decided to leave.
Professionally. Thoughtfully. Without burning bridges.
Because sometimes the right move is not staying longer to prove yourself.
It’s choosing alignment over comfort.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is this:
Everyone has more to learn. Always.
Growth is not a finish line. It’s a mindset.
I’m proud of the work I did.
I’m clear on what I want to build next.
And I’m excited to move forward doing work that aligns with my values, my vision, and the way I want to serve clients.
If you’re in a season where something no longer fits, that doesn’t mean you failed.
It usually means you’ve outgrown it.
