We say goodbye to someone who was so much more than a publishing manager and owner. We say goodbye to a friend, a leader, a partner, and a very special part of our Today Publications family.
Kelly Jo Harrison Chada was a person who cared deeply about the people around her. She brought strength, compassion, dedication, and heart to everything she touched. Her presence was felt not only through the work she helped build but also through the relationships, conversations, memories, and lives she touched along the way.
For those of us who had the privilege of working with Kelly, her absence will leave an enormous space that cannot simply be filled. There are people who have a job, and then there are people who become part of the story of an organization. Kelly was part of our story.
She helped shape the publication, the people behind it, and the relationships that made it meaningful. Her fingerprints are on more than pages. They are in the memories we carry forward.
Kelly was also a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend, and dog lover. Her family was at the center of her world, and the love she gave them was unmistakable. Her obituary speaks of a woman who was a rock for those she loved, and that same strength and caring spirit touched so many beyond her immediate family.
There are moments when words simply aren't enough.
So today, we will keep it simple:
Thank you, Kelly.
Thank you for your dedication.
Thank you for your friendship.
Thank you for the memories.
Thank you for everything you gave to the people and the publication you cared about.
Your work may have appeared in publications, but your true legacy is in the people whose lives you touched.
You will be deeply missed, never forgotten, and forever a part of the Today Publications family.
Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences are with Dean, Kelly's family, friends, and everyone who loved her during this incredibly difficult time.
Rest peacefully, Kelly. ❤️
Your story continues through all of us who were fortunate enough to know you.
