Bad Customer Service Isn’t About Slow Responses—It’s About the Wrong Questions
I just spent 2 hours going back and forth with a service provider’s customer support.
At first, I was frustrated. The issue dragged on, and I got the typical response:
"Please check with the other provider."
Then it hit me… this wasn’t about response time—it was about training.
↳ Instead of taking immediate action, they kept asking surface-level questions.
↳ Instead of diagnosing the real issue, they assumed I already knew how to fix it.
↳ If they had asked 2-3 deeper questions upfront, we could have solved this in minutes.
Life lesson:
Most people think they know the solution to their problem.
But the real issue? They’re solving the wrong problem.
Whether it’s customer service, business, or even PPC, the key is asking better questions—faster.
How often do we waste time fixing symptoms instead of diagnosing the real issue?
