Big news for Messenger Marketing if this turns out to be accurate. You'll be able to have bots on Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram Direct and reach your customers no matter which platform they prefer.

We here at WebbyUp.com knew bots were eventually going to be available on WhatsApp and Instagram Direct, but this article leads me to believe that they will all integrate more smoothly than we thought before.

BREAKING: If you have been worried about Messenger's broadcast policy changes on 12/31/18... worry no more (at least for the time being...)

The deadline for applying for page-level permissions to broadcast has been delayed to a later date. This date has not yet been specified.

This means you can still broadcast your non-promotional messages without needing to apply for permission. At least for now. We'll keep you updated as information becomes available.

🚨 Public service announcement for people using ManyChat for their Messenger bots. 🚨

A note from the ManyChat Team:

"If you experience problems with your pages reconnected with the Refresh button in the pages list ("Can`t publish main menu", "Can`t fetch whitelist domains" and other error messages), please do the following (even everything is fine now, this will help to avoid them in the future):

"Open Business Tools tab in Facebook settings and delete ManyChat app (don’t worry it won’t delete anything of yours in ManyChat). Then go to manychat.com and log in again with your Facebook account — this will refresh permissions and make your bots work as expected.

"This issue is caused by the wrong permissions token setup. ManyChat and Facebook are working on the solution."
